Incorrect Port: How do I fix a problem with an incorrect port error?

Solution:

Change the port manually. Go to Process|E-mail Settings, select your e-mail account, then click on the Advanced button. Reset the port to 110.

Date Error: Why am I getting a "Date Error" message?

Problem description:

On messages marked spam or suspect invalid date is one of the factors.

Explanation:

An invalid date is considered a spam factor. My Spam Gone maintains a "LatestDateDelivered". There will be an entry in the INI file like: "LatestDateDelivered=2006-09-26".
If you receive an e-mail message that is more than 2 weeks old, you will get a Date Error message in your email. Also, if you receive a message that is more than one day in the future, it will get the Date Error message.
Generally, any message with an invalid date can be considered spam. If there is a situation where an invalid date is associated with a valid message, please tell us about it at Technical Support.

How do I uninstall?

Solution:

The ideal way is to go to Start | Programs | My Spam Gone | uninstall.
